Jeff Gordon's USAC Sprint car was built in the winter of 1989 by John Bickford, Bob East, and Andy Graves. It raced during the 1990 season and had multiple wins and set multiple track qualifying records. The car held the Indianapolis Raceway Park qualifying record for 15 years. When originally created its innovative design and features were four years ahead of it’s time and the competition. The chassis design was used on all future Beast sprint cars and silver crown cars. Action Platinum Series is a 1/24 scale limited edition diecast colletible that includes over 100 working total parts. With a diecast body and chassis, this sleek replica's authenticity is evident. Key features also include: hood and trunk open, manufacturer-specific engine detail, accurate header contour and simulated exhaust openings. Each 1:24 scale diecast will also contain a DIN, visable through the back window, for registration. Limited production quantities will be determined for each car to heighten its future value and is featured on the packaging as a silver sticker with " 1 of XXX". Each diecast is packaged in a custom printed box.
